Roof solarisation Pierre LEBRETON 25 October 2023

Install solar panels on your roof

Installing photovoltaic panels on the roof of a building is always a worthwhile option, generating income if the electricity is resold on the grid, or substantial energy savings if it is self-consumed.

  • Use the electricity generated
  • Sell surplus electricity to a supplier

Why your should install photovoltaic panels on your roof?

Installing photovoltaic panels on your roof is a solution that will enable you to quickly reduce your energy bill, especially in the current climate of rising energy prices.

As part of its strategy to develop renewable energies, the French government is providing support for the installation of photovoltaic panels through a self-consumption bonus. This bonus only applies to self-consumption with resale of the surplus. In the first quarter of 2023, it was :

  • €500/kWp for an installation less than or equal to 3 kWp ;
  • €370/kWp for an installation of between 3 kWp and 9 kWp ;
  • €210/kWp for an installation between 9 kWp and 36 kWp ;
  • €110/kWp for an installation of between 36 kWp and 100 kWp.
